Asian Contemporary Art Fair New York 2008 The 2nd annual ACAF NY is coming in November 2008 to Manhattan’s Pier 92, showcasing works by a stellar front line of contemporary masters and an exciting selection of work by emerging artists who are consistently setting tomorrow’s trends. The five-day event brings a vibrant international art market that is attractive to prominent collectors as well as new collectors of Contemporary Asian Art. ACAF NY provides special opportunities for an open dialogue with key figures of the art world; the most respected dealers of contemporary Asian art will engage collectors, curators, and the general public alike. An international crowd of over 19,000 art aficionados attended ACAF NY in 2007, and over 25,000 are expected to attend the Fair in 2008. ACAF NY will open with a gala event and preview of the show prior to the public opening at Pier 92 in Manhattan.
